Woodcreek Farms is a residential community consisting of about 2300 acres of land located midway between I-20 and Two Notch Road(Highway 1) off of Spears Creek Road in Elgin, South Carolina.  It is a luxury real estate community just outside of the city of Columbia, South Carolina in the popular suburbs known as The Columbia Northeast.  There are several gated communities in this Elgin neighborhood that boasts luxury real estate and executive style custom homes.  Many of the homes for sale in Woodcreek Farms are built of brick construction with high-end features such as; heavy crown molding, 14 foot ceilings, hardwood floors, granite counter tops, 3- car garages eco-friendly/green home building elements, irrigation systems, large master suites, and professional kitchens.  Additionally, the lots for sale in Woodcreek Farms Subdivision are typically waterfront properties or golf course front lots. .  Woodcreek is a private community that began to take off as a residential golf community in the early 1990’s and one of the nicest new home communities in Columbia SC.
