Brian Hunt is a Real Estate Licensee and South Carolina Real Estate Broker with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Blythewood. He has been licensed since 1998 and in 2004 achieved Broker status with the SC LLR Real Estate Commission. In January of 2009 he was the Broker-In-Charge of Hunt and Associates Real Estate Sales and Development and oversaw all business and real estate transactions, marketing and a lot of online development of the company. In 2013 he joined with a small boutique brokerage downtown Columbia SC to focus on specifically real estate sales and marketing. In 2015, his wife Melinda Hunt joined him as a full time real estate team. In 2017 they both were recruited by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage national real estate company. In Brian's 1st year at CBRB Blythewood he was elected President of the Agent Advisory Board to represent the 50+/- agents within the office. He and Melinda were awareded the, "2017 Best of Blue - International Sterling Society Team" for the entire region of the Coldwell Banker - Carolinas. This area includes all brokerages in Columbia, Charlotte and Charleston, to name a few.
Brian graduated from Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Arts with a Minor in Mass Communications with a strong balance in the field Public Relations, Journalism, and Marketing. He went on to continue his education immediately upon graduation into the Real Estate field. He initially focused on lots, land, and acreage sales throughout the extended Midlands of Columbia and his business continues to grow. He has been involved in almost every aspect of real estate including; Lot and Acreage Sales, Land Development, Home Renovation, Waterfront and Recreational Properties, Relocation including Military Relocation, Managing Owner Financing Packages, Brokering REO and Tax Sale properties, and of course his primary home brokerage representing both buyers and sellers.
He is a life-long resident of the state of South Carolina. His experience as a veteran real estate professional has involved dealings of brokering hundreds of acres and luxury homes, to small parcels and manufactured home plots. Brian's view of real estate is that "I'm here to assist anyone that needs my help and to treat everyone equally. It doesn't matter if it is a million dollar home or a ten thousand-dollar lot. The importance of that purchase to the buyer usually remains constant...no matter how much money is involved."
