North Springs Columbia
North Springs
Tucked away in Northeast Columbia, North Springs offers a unique blend of charm, space, and amenities. Developed in the late 1970s, the neighborhood features a variety of home styles such as brick, vinyl, and wood-sided, ranging from about 1,500 to 4,000 square feet. Many homes sit on generously sized lots starting at roughly a third of an acre, giving the community a more open and relaxed feel. At the heart of North Springs is a 40 acre lake where residents enjoy fishing, kayaking, or taking a small boat out for a peaceful afternoon on the water. The lake is stocked for great fishing and is open to paddle-powered boats, electric trolling motors, and small outboards (10 horsepower or less). An island in the lake serves as a gathering spot, complete with a common area. There is a boat ramp and storage for neighbors with boats. The neighborhood also includes tennis courts, pickleball courts, and a playground, which are all covered by the HOA. North Springs has three entrances including two from Clemson Road and one from North Springs Road, making it easy to get in and out. It’s just minutes from shopping, restaurants, and major highways like I-20 and I-77. For daily convenience, residents can walk to the local grocery store, North Springs Park, and North Springs Elementary. Part of Richland School District 2, the neighborhood is zoned for North Springs Elementary, Summit Middle, and Spring Valley High School. North Springs offers a rare combination of space, water access, and location.
