The Runneymede neighborhood in Longcreek Plantation (Blythewood) must have grown into its own name over the past 25 years. From my recollection, throughout my years as a Blythewood resident, is the street named Runneymede that cuts through the shoreline of Lake Columbia (also known as Lake Windermere). The homes for sale in Runneymede, like the majority of the Longcreek Plantation Community, have the reputation of being well constructed with additional 'bonus' features that you will not typically find in most new home communities in Columbia today. The trends of certain building materials have transformed over the past several decades and you can witness almost all of them in Runneymede. Some are wood-sided homes, some are brick and others may be vinyl. But in any of these homes you will find a common factor... a sense of community.

There is a vast range of land characteristics in any of the lots for sale in Runneymede. No two lots are alike and you will notice waterfront properties tucked in behind mature vegetation, cul-de-sac properties, luxury custom homes, and modest sized "starter" homes. This would be a great "safe" pick for anyone looking to be in a golf community or waterfront community in Blythewood. It is a seasoned neighborhood and the values in Runneymede have not drastically changed in one direction or the other.
