Longcreek Plantation | Club Cottages Blythewood

The Club Cottages subdivision is located off of Columbia Club Drive in Blythewood’s Longcreek Plantation Community.  Club Colony’s original phase, along Pinewood Cottage Lane, consisted of approximately 24 homesites with home sizes 2000 SF to 3000 SF in size. Many would refer to these as, “Patio Homes” due to the lot sizes being less than ¼ acre. The first series of homes were built in the turn of the millennium with either all brick construction or high-end building materials that are similar to a brick. Club Cottages is a 1-street neighborhood.  Although there is ample parking for 2-3 cars, there are also a few overflow parking spaces in the neighborhood for guests. It is also common to see homes with front entry garages in the Club Cottages neighborhood. Columbia Country Club’s 27-hole golf course runs along the back-side of the neighborhood.

Around 2012 Club Cottages added another phase, known as “Club Cottages Phase 2”.  This section is similar in size and lot sizes, and there are only a few homes that have been built in this phase(as of 2020).  It appears that all of the lots have been developed, and no new construction.

Fairway Villas should also be mentioned.  This neighboring subdivision borders Club Cottages and was likely the concept for building new homes in Blythewood with a similar patio-home and golf course frontage neighborhood.  Fairway Villas was developed in the 1980s and has only 5 existing homes.
