Hollywood Rose Hill Columbia SC
Hollywood - Rose Hill
The Hollywood/ Rose Hill Neighborhood in Downtown Columbia SC is a neighborhood that has several advantages, including a well-kept dog park and spots for an afternoon stroll. Many classic and non-traditional-style homes may be seen in the lovely downtown area between South Harden St, Heyward St, Rosewood Dr, and S. Marion St. The homes in this non-gated neighborhood were built in the 1920s and are still being constructed today. The lot sizes average just under ½ acre with home sizes ranging from 1,500 to 5,600 square feet. Many of these homes are constructed of brick, stone, stucco, asbestos, wood, Hardiplank, and even some vinyl siding. Most of them are traditional-style homes but with a lot of styles that begin with the different types of siding. Although many of the homes lack traditional garages, some do have a detached garage in the backyard and larger driveways that can accommodate two cars. It is also “Downtown” and common to see on-street parking. The Hollywood Rose Hill neighborhood tends to have homes for sale that are just above the average for Columbia SC, and there is no HOA. Because this neighborhood is in the Richland One school system, A.C. Moore Elementary, Hand Middle, and Dreher High School are all close by.
