We've covered many aspects of Cobblestone Park in our Blythewood Real Estate Blog but here we will attempt to cover some of the basic information about Cobblestone Park.  Initially, it was developed as The University Club then redeveloped and renamed Cobblestone Park. There is no doubt that the developer had a spectacular vision and created a beautiful neighborhood.  This gated community boasts 27 holes of golf, an outstanding amenity center with various outdoor sports activities such as swimming, tennis, soccer, basketball and of course golf. The lot sizes are small in comparison of other Blythewood SC neighborhoods... but Cobblestone Park is special in the way that it is like no other development in Columbia.  The closest in comparison may be Longcreek Plantation's Windermere neighborhood because it is gated, private, has golf front properties and waterfront properties for sale on a regular basis.  However, Cobblestone Park is a new home community with hundreds, if not thousands, of lots.  Homes for sale in Cobblestone Park were initially built to exceed $250 SF and are works of art with heavy crown molding, tall ceilings and doors, Verandas, Hardwood floors, granite countertops, professional kitchens and appliances, energy-efficient HVAC systems, tankless water heaters, media, and theater rooms, built-in speakers throughout the house, central vacuums, and so on.  This is just one example of the detail that was put into this development.
