There's also the SCE&G's "Value Visit" which gives homeowners an opportunity to decide how to improve their homes envelope by sending a representative from the utility company to your home to evaluate what changes will benefit you most. Both of these programs will give you some education and advice on what you need to do to conserve energy and lower your monthly bill. The "Value Visit" costs $25 but will be refunded once you make the improvements, if within 90 days. And the "In Home Inspection" is free, free, free!
